Mobility and Flexibility When you age above 25-year mark, your body starts losing some of its mobility. Your muscles become stiff and tight, most probably the end part of your muscle called tendon can stiffen and your joints may often feel painful. When this happens, gradually day-to-day movements become painful or difficult. It will be difficult to touch your toes.When you walk for long distances you will observe that your back starts aching. And when you try to attempt over head activity to put something away you feel pain in your neck and around shoulders, this is due to a lack of mobility.Yoga can help to improve your mobility, means it can help loosing those tight muscles and tendons. It can improve your range of motion so that when you move your body; you do not get pain and it in the most ordered and helpful way possible. Not only you feel good and healthy, you will not have those awful pains.
Strength In Yoga you need to be in some pose for some period of time. And in most cases you are underneath your complete body weight. To gain a pose and be in that pose for time requires you to build great strength. Most yoga positions take on strength from your large muscle groups, your core and shoulder muscles for example. As these muscles gain their strength you will find it expands to other areas of your living. Your posture will improve. You’ll be stronger, not only physically but also mentally, and thus capable to lift and carry more than you used to. And you will build muscle which burns fat and looks pretty darn incredible too.
Reduced Stress Yoga has very good effect in reducing your stress level by controlling some hormone of our body. The first stress-reducing component is breathing and concentration. Many yoga styles have a planned breathing protocol; which help in improving your breathing pattern. You need focus on your breathing, it automatically control cortisol (a stress hormone) and it and help in regulating your heart rate.But the most effective is your smile so keep smiling!!!!
